Last summer I had the coolest opportunity in the world - I was invited to shoot Shooter Jennings and Misty Brooke Swain's wedding in the desert!
The couples small and intimate wedding was held at Hicksville Trailer Palace in Joshua Tree, CA. If you have not been there, visit there site, it's pretty cool.
Desert shoots are my personal favorite. I would gladly take the desert over the beach or the city in a hot New York minute! Needless to say, when the opportunity presented itself, I was happy to rise to the occasion without a second thought.
As featured in PEOPLE.COM...
"The rocker, 34, and his bride were married on June 4 in Joshua Tree, California., PEOPLE can now confirm, with the San Gabriel Mountains in the Mojave Desert as a picturesque backdrop.
Swain wore a satin A-line gown with crystal details at the waist and a chapel-length train. Jennings – who is the son of the late country singer Waylon Jennings – wore a custom black rose shirt made by Manuel, who originally created it for Jennings's godfather, the late Johnny Cash. The late-afternoon ceremony was held in front of an intimate group of family and friends, while the groom's father's music played in the background."
Thanks Shooter and Misty for having me tag along...you guys rocked your wedding!
